Biography
Martha Marunga Murungi is an Exchange of Information Officer at the Uganda Revenue Authority, with more than 14 years of experience across tax compliance, enforcement, financial investigations, digital tax-system implementation and international tax transparency. She holds a master’s degree in Public Finance and Tax Administration and has contributed to Uganda’s implementation of international tax-transparency standards, including its peer-review work on Exchange of Information on Request. Her research interests include tax administration, beneficial ownership transparency, institutional coordination, digitalisation and evidence-based policy implementation.
