Biography
Mohammed Alkali is a B.Sc. (Hons.) Economics graduate of University of Maiduguri. He holds a Masters in Business Management and PhD in Islamic Banking & Finance from Nigeria Défense Academy (Kaduna) and AL-Madinah International University, Shah Alam, Selangor respectively.
Mohammed is a Certified National Accountant, a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Certified ADKAR Change Management Practitioner of the PROSCI Institute and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified System Accountants (USA).
Before his appointment as the Executive Chairman Borno State Internal Revenue Service, he was the Head of Tax Audit at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Borno State Tax Audit Office as well as the Assistant Team Lead, Change Management Unit, Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) Project of FIRS.
